MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

The Friends of the Children's Library (FOTCL) is an all-volunteer group that supports the Children's Department of the Huntington Beach Public Library. We sponsor a variety of educational and informative activities for children in our community throughout the year: monthly shows (ballets, musical performances, magic shows, and plays), an Authors Festival, a Festival of Folktales in June (which kicks off the library's Summer Reading Program), and a Holiday Tree Trimming Party in December.

We meet the 1st Friday of each month at 9 AM in Room B in the lower level of the
Central Library (summer scheduyle may vary). For more information on joining our group, please click on the link below for our current brochure and application.

AS A MEMBER OF THE FRIENDS OF THE CHILDREN'S LIBRARY YOU CAN:

•   Volunteer to help at programs and special events for the Children's Library.
•   Increase public awareness of the Children's Library and the HB Library system.
•   Support the Library in developing better services for the children in our community.
